Data Deletion Instructions

You have the right to delete your Tezzap account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains exactly how.
Option 1 — Self-service (recommended)
- Sign in to your Tezzap dashboard.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Click Delete my account.
- Confirm by entering your email address.
- You will receive a confirmation email within 5 minutes.
- Your account and data are scheduled for permanent deletion within 7 calendar days.
Option 2 — Email request
If you cannot access your dashboard, email support@tezzap.com from the email address registered with your Tezzap account. Include:
- Your registered email address
- Your registered phone number (if any)
- The subject line: Data Deletion Request
We will action the request within 7 calendar days and confirm by email once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, phone, business info).
- Your uploaded knowledge-base documents.
- All conversation logs associated with your account.
- Billing records (retained in anonymised form for statutory audit compliance only).
What is retained and why
- GST invoices: retained for 7 years as mandated by Indian tax law.
- Audit logs: retained in anonymised form for security and compliance purposes.
These retained records cannot be used to personally identify you after deletion.
WhatsApp / Meta data
If your number is provisioned on the WhatsApp Business Platform through Tezzap, deleting your Tezzapaccount will also disconnect the number from our platform. To fully remove the number from Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, follow Meta's instructions at facebook.com/business/help.
